ElderMate is NOT a medical device.

The Service is intended for wellness and family coordination only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a professional physician for medical concerns.

2. Data Collection & Integration

ElderMate integrates with Apple HealthKit and Google Fit to synchronize health metrics (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen).

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 standards.

No Third-Party Sharing: We never share, sell, or rent your health data to third-party advertisers, insurance companies, or data brokers.

3. Data Retention

Google Compliance Requirement

We retain your personal and health data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy:

• Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active to provide the "Task-Closure" history and health trends.
• Inactive Accounts: If an account remains inactive for more than 24 months, we reserve the right to archive or permanently delete the associated data.
• Legal Necessity: We will retain and use your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations or resolve disputes.

4. Data Deletion & User Rights

Google Compliance Requirement

You have full control over your data. You may request the deletion of your data at any time through the following methods:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the "Settings" or "Profile" menu of the ElderMate App.
• Manual Request: You may email us at info@pardpro.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

Processing Time: Upon receiving a deletion request, all personal and health data will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days. Please note that some data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period until overwritten.

5. Technical Safety & Compliance

Deterministic Logic: ElderMate utilizes a proprietary rule-based engine for alert triggering, ensuring predictable and consistent safety parameters without the use of probabilistic generative models for core health alerts.

Regulatory Adherence: We are committed to adhering to the principles of GDPR and HIPAA guidelines to maintain the highest standards of data protection.
